this is it! only one week left to meet my goal of raising $6,000 to get to the Actors Theatre of Louisville, and i’m alllllmost there!!!! just a few more days until my deadline of August 8th. i’ve been so moved by the outpouring of support, and know that my dream can come true with your help. we’re already so close, and ANY donation helps!

this past week of fundraising has been exciting and stressful. i had my birthday! it’s always an exciting time around my birthday, but this year i was sick. so, it was more like a ‘barf’day. thankfully i was only in bed for a few days and am feeling much better.  

i’ve also just started working on making all the homemade gifts for folks who have donated over $20. so if you’ve donated, expect a gift in the mail soon! keep me busy making lots of gifts for you and DONATE, and help spread the word!

$100+ you receive a comical short play written by me especially for you!

$1,000+ i’ll create and perform a 5-10 minute solo performance just for you, and if i ever win an a big acting award, your name will be mentioned in the acceptance speech!

the rumor is true! it’s my birthday week, and i’m getting old!

but more importantly, i’m almost half way to my goal! only 2 weeks away from the deadline! ahhhhhh!

this past week has been VERY busy and exciting. aside from workin’ all week, i had a yard sale! we got rained out on Saturday mornin’, but the sun came out in the afternoon. we were able to raise some funds on Sunday too. i even ran into a childhood babysitter at the yard sale who really appreciated the Caboodles and other 80s memorabilia for sale.

my family and i also played hosts to my favorite folks from AREA IV! they’re on their way to two different Fringe Festivals in Canada, and i miss them sooo much. they were able to celebrate the beginning of my birthday week at Chuck E. Cheese! it was sooo much fun. even my grandparents joined in the fun winning lots of tickets! special thanks to my mom for such a great time. as for the rest of the week, i plan to celebrate my birthday in only the most extreme, mature ways.

aside from being excited that my birthday is this week, i’ll be workin’ and trying out another one or two of my fun fundraising ideas.

Welcome to my very own website and blog!

This blog will keep you up to date about my adventures raising money to move to and live in Louisville, Kentucky so I can be an Acting Apprentice at the Actors Theatre of Louisville, home to the Humana Festival! I need to raise $6,000 to be able to live, eat, learn and create for 9 months on no income. I’m well on my way to reaching my goal, but I need your help!
